A scooter, commuter bike and touring motorcycle can need different handling. Describe the vehicle and its accessories before agreeing protection or a transport arrangement.

Share the make, model, running condition and destination, plus photographs showing both sides. Flag panniers, luggage boxes, a windscreen, modifications or an electric powertrain. Explain whether the bike rolls and steers so collection and loading can be assessed accurately.

Ask which exposed parts will be protected, how the bike will be secured and whether anything must be removed. If a crate or another special packing method is proposed, have its scope stated explicitly. A combined house-and-bike enquiry should still give the bike its own inventory entry and agreed handling details.

Use these points to define the service you need. The accepted tasks, materials and responsibilities should be reflected in your written quotation.

Prepare your bike booking in three steps. First, send the model, current photographs, accessory list, both addresses and preferred dates. Next, review the proposed packing, transport method, document list and complete quote. Finally, confirm the collection and receiving contacts, accepted terms and booking reference before arranging the handover.

Share vehicle or identity documents through the channel confirmed by your booking contact, after checking what is needed and who receives it. If the bike changes, a new accessory is added or someone else will hand it over, update the booking record before collection.

Intercity bike transportation starts at ₹5,000. Send the model, photographs, accessory list and both locations so the packing and movement can be assessed.

The final quote depends on the two-wheeler, packing, loading, route, pickup access and delivery arrangement. Ask for applicable taxes and any extra handling to be stated before booking. A scooter, modified bike and large motorcycle need their own assessment.

If someone else will receive the bike, send them the pickup photographs and accessory list beforehand. Agree who can acknowledge delivery and who should be contacted if the condition or item count differs. A household delivery contact is not automatically the receiving person for the bike.

Compare bike quotations on packing, collection, loading, movement and delivery together. A low transport figure can describe a different scope from an address-to-address arrangement.

Ask for a collection acknowledgement that identifies the bike, keys and separate accessories, even when final dispatch is later. Keep photographs from before wrapping and a photograph of the finished package with its reference visible. If packing prevents inspection at delivery, agree when and by whom it will be removed so the receiving person can complete the condition check.

Confirm fuel, battery and accessory preparation with the accepted transport provider. Do not disconnect an unfamiliar electrical system or apply one instruction to every bike.

• Take clear photographs of body panels, wheels, lights, levers, mirrors and existing scratches. Record the odometer, keys and any accessories handed over.
• Remove loose personal items and valuables. List detachable luggage or other accepted items separately so they can be counted at delivery.
• Discuss an electric bike or scooter early. Follow the manufacturer and accepted carrier instructions for its battery and preparation, including any work requiring a qualified person.
• Keep a copy of the booking, item list and condition record. Arrange a receiving contact who can inspect the bike and note any discrepancy at handover.

Compare the received bike and its accessories with the pickup photographs and list. Agree who removes packing so inspection and any remaining work are clear.

Look at the exposed surfaces and any parts that were removed for transport. Count keys, luggage boxes and separately packed accessories, and note visible concerns with photographs on the delivery record. Keep relevant packing if there is a problem and contact the booking team promptly. Any reinstatement work or unresolved discrepancy should have an identified owner and an agreed next step.
