How we prepare moving guidance
Our guides help you ask better questions, prepare your belongings and agree the details of a move. Your actual addresses, inventory and written booking scope remain the basis of the service.
Useful information, with its limits made clear
We separate practical preparation advice from facts that need to be checked for a specific property. A locality guide cannot establish the lift dimensions, truck access, building permission or loading slot for every address in that area. Confirm those details with the people responsible for the property and share them before approving the moving scope.
Geographic references and names
Our city and area guides use geographic references, including public authority material and GeoNames. Alternative city names are brought together where they describe the same moving enquiry. Broader states and regions are kept separate from city destinations.
GeoNames data is available under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0. We select Indian place records, normalise names and use location points to organise related guides. A representative point is not a service boundary, office address, road-distance estimate or verification of vehicle access. Source references appear with the relevant guidance.
Prices, timing and moving arrangements
We publish Shiftify’s approved home-shifting starting prices on the moving charges page and explain what can change the final quote. A starting price is a budgeting reference, not a fixed total for every inventory, property or route. Ask for the inventory, packing, handling, transport, optional tasks, applicable taxes, payment milestones and exclusions in writing. A collection date, vehicle departure and delivery window are different milestones and should be confirmed separately.
Some guides explain transport, storage or insurance choices that a customer may need to consider. An informational guide does not mean that Shiftify offers every option discussed. Confirm the specific service and any available protection before booking.
Reviews and practical examples
Customer feedback should reflect an actual experience and be shared with permission. Preparation examples illustrate a decision; they are not presented as completed Shiftify jobs. We do not treat an unexplained rating or a claim of being number one as a replacement for checking the service scope.
Updates and corrections
Property instructions, manufacturer guidance, transport requirements and public notices can change. Follow the current instructions for your equipment and move date. If you find an incorrect place name, a broken reference or advice that needs correction, contact Shiftify with the page and the detail that should be reviewed.
