This notice explains the information involved when you use this website or contact Shiftify about a move. Use the contact at the end of this page for questions about your information or to change your contact preferences.
Information you provide
The enquiry form asks for contact and moving details such as your name, mobile number, optional email, pickup and destination, property or inventory information and preferred date. Further details may be discussed when preparing a quote or arranging a booking. Please provide only information relevant to the move.
Do not include passwords, payment OTPs or unnecessary identity documents in a general enquiry. Where a later document is needed for an accepted service, ask the team why it is required and how to share it.
How enquiry information is used
- Responding to your request and clarifying the move you described.
- Preparing the quote and coordinating an accepted booking.
- Keeping relevant correspondence, invoices and service or claim records.
- Operating the form, limiting spam and investigating delivery or technical errors.
The form’s contact agreement relates to your moving enquiry. It is separate from optional website measurement preferences. Tell the team if you no longer want follow-up about an enquiry.
Website measurement and browser storage
Essential website functions may use browser storage or technical request data to operate the enquiry journey and prevent abuse. Where optional analytics or advertising measurement is enabled, use the website’s preference controls to accept or decline it. A quotation request does not require you to accept optional measurement.
Measurement can include the page, device category, campaign link parameters and events such as an accepted enquiry. Names, phone numbers, email addresses and exact moving addresses are not needed in analytics events and should not be sent as event data.
Service providers and contact channels
Information needed to operate the website, deliver an enquiry and coordinate a move may be processed through hosting, security, communication and business-system providers. The deployed website uses Cloudflare infrastructure; optional measurement providers depend on the site configuration and your preferences.
If you choose to open WhatsApp, send an email or use another external service, that provider also handles information under its own terms. Avoid sending sensitive documents through a channel unless the purpose and recipient have been confirmed.
Records and information requests
Contact Shiftify to ask about the information associated with your enquiry, request a correction or deletion, raise a privacy concern or withdraw an optional contact preference. Include enough detail to locate the record, and expect a proportionate identity check where needed to protect it.
Some records may need to be retained for an accepted service, accounting, dispute handling or an applicable legal requirement. Ask the team to explain the retention relevant to your record and any reason a requested deletion cannot yet be completed.
